School of Clinical Care Sciences

Department of Nursing Science:

  • Nursing Education Association (NEA): collaborate in delivering basic health care services to underprivileged communities in the Nelson Mandela Bay
  • Phelophepa Train of Hope: nursing students voluntarily provide a range of health care services to underserved communities throughout South Africa
  • Mobile Clinical Laboratory: will be used to strengthen the existing home based nursing care programme. This project will not only enhance the quality of the students’ training (theoretical and practical) but will also be of direct benefit to the communities
  • FUNDISA: Collaboration with various Universities creates opportunities for professional development, research and benchmarking

Department of Emergency Medical Care:

  • PE Emergency Medical Care College: Opportunity for development of our students and an opportunity to help develop and support the education and training at the college
  • Mountain Club of South Africa: Assist in search and rescue operations
  • National Sea Rescue Institute Station 6: Assist in search and rescue operations
